Dear Doctor I am 37 years of of age I have been diagnosed with a bulging disc C4 C5 and I have symptoms of numbness both of my arms, and loss of strength, also my back and front chest is very sore
through my MRI test and My CT scan only show that i have had bulging disc but not where exactly the bulging disc interfere with my nerves.I have a young family and I need to know how should I cope with this and if there is something I can do like chiropractic, osteopathic or swimming. I am scared to do any heavy lifting, such as boiling, or any heavy physical work because I know I will do more damage. My most and final question to you is ? is this will get much worst as I get older with age, will I get useless not able to work, what statistics have shown regarding this problem I need to know please because is effecting my life and the way I leave my life because my specialist does mot understand or he want tell me the same with my doctor. At the moment I am doing Gym work through workcover and my physiotherapist trained me to lift light weights to get back in shape do you think that will make it worst or better, please I need honest and truthfull advice regarding the rest of my life what is left of it.
