How To Treat Burning Feeling Under Breast?

I have had for five months pain and a raw/burning feeling under my breast on the left side. The doctor injected the are for costochriditis. It did not help. Still have a little pain in the left side but now the right side is doing the same thing. Can you advise me on this? Thanks.

Hello,

You should maintain healthy weight. Overweight can cause folding of the skin and that will trigger fungal infection, rashes, accumulation of sweat, abrasions 7 burning sensation. Take care of your hygiene. Clean the skin under the breasts, apply ointment Neosporin or Soframycin on the area affected.

Costochondritis pain can be eased by taking Combiflam or acetaminophen, one stat when needed. Pain relieving ointment / sprays are effective. Gentle massage is effective. You can take antacids, PPIs to relieve any acid reflux that may cause burning sensation. However, get clinically examined by a gynecologist, get mammogram done to stay on the safer side. You will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
