Hello, I was trying to bleach some old jeans of mine. I was using a moderate amount of the clorox bleach cleaner, and it burned my eyes a bit and made me cough. It s been about an hour, I opened the doors in my house and i feel fine just a little sleepy. Am I okay?

Hello
Thank you for asking the question.
Bleach contains chemical sodium hypochlorite. It releases chloride which on inhalation produce many symptoms like coughing, irritation of eye, nose, skin, lung, decrease in alertness etc.
So whatever symptoms you are getting it is due to inhalation of bleach.
Wash the eye and skin with water as many times as possible. Consult a doctor immediately to take treatment because you are feeling little sleepy.
Hope this will helpful to you.
