Hello,

You are suffering from buzzing sound in the ear since a week. Presently your symptoms have increased. You don't get good sleep. Your BP is 140/80. When there is a fullness in the ear you may feel a sensation of blockage and may hear muffled sounds in the ear. You may also experience crackling or popping noises in the ear. Fullness in the ear may be due to cold, allergy, infection (OE, OI, AOM,COM,CSOM), impacted earwax, swimmers ear, formation of cholesteatoma, a benign cyst, filled with dead skin cells, eustachian tube dysfunction, partial or complete rupture of the eardrum, etc.

You are suggested to take antihistamine, one daily at bed time for 5-7 days. It will help to reduce symptoms of allergy, cold and aid better sleep. You should avoid entering into any water bodies or swimming pools. Take precaution while bathing, do not let water enter your ears. Avoid showers. You can take acetaminophen, one SOS to reduce any inflammation and swelling in the internal ear that may be causing you symptoms.

Get clinically examined in ER or by ENT to detect any earwax impacted, infection, or any other developing problem. Get audiometry test done to assess if you have developed hearing problems. You will be treated accordingly with medicines or by hearing aid if required. If diabetic, control your blood glucose level at all cost. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
