How To Treat Cataract Associated Sharp Eye Pain With Blurred Vision?

I have had 6 years ago Lasik on my eyes, the left eye was diagnosed by Dr. that I have a cataract and at any time can choose to have surgery. That was last April. Planning to get it done in March or April this year. 2 days ago I had a very sharp pain in that eye and it seems now like the vision is worse. Could it be something else more urgent?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having cataract and you have undergone lasik 6 years ago. Cataract is a painless condition until unless it is complicated by the development of complications like lens induced glaucoma or uveitis. Hence I feel sharp pain in the eye may not be related to cataract and hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
