Just fighting an presentable cellulitis infection in my eyelid(lower) am afraid oral antibiotics aren t working. I m only on day 2 of antibiotic. I took 1/out of 2 pills (2nd day of antibiotics). When should inflammation and infections start to diminish and my skin start looking better?
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having presptal cellulitis of the eyelid. The treatment for preseptal cellulitis is by use of antibiotics and antiinflmmatory drugs. If the infection is not responding and not showing improvement it requires examination to rule out orbital cellulitis which requires treatment by intravenous antibiotics. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.
Hope this information is helpful to you.
