How To Treat Cervical Ectropian ?

Hello I have a cervical ectropian, I have had it for the last 2years or so...I had it cauterized but 4 weeks later when I had my check up it was back. Just about every time I have sex it bleeds and is extremely embarassing and annoying. I would like to know if there is anything else I can do, or will this just keep growing back? Will it help if I go off the pill?
