How To Treat Chest Discomfort And Pain In Shoulder Blades?
I am 10 days post stenting/2 placed in RCA, 3 stents placed 3 years ago on the left...still experincing chest discomfort, but dull ache mid chest/between shoulder blades. I am 59, caucasian with significant cardiac/family history. Not a complainer, work as a nurse, lots of stress. Jacki D.

Hi, Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic, I am Dr Asad Riaz, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem. Cheet discomfort can be due GIT prob , Cheet prob or heart .. as u having heart disease the discomfort can be due to disease which is not significant for stent can cause it , or chest infection after stent can be causing this one , if u were my I would like to do chest X Ray to rule out chest infection n optimise heart med n ECG do to see is there any under lying pathology n echo to see how much heart is function n if needed will do angio n then will find the cause n Tx accordngly
