I think it is the funiest thing I ever heard; I am suffering a lot of pain on my chest due to my cough. Thank you so much I really want to get better so I can take care of my kids.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Chest x ray
2. PFT (pulmonary function test).
You are having chronic cough and chest pain , so following possibilities can be think of in your case.
1. Pleurisy (inflammation of pleura). It is seen in pneumonia, tuberculosis, pleural effusion etc.
2. Bronchitis.
So get done chest x ray to rule out possible causes for pleurisy.
If chest x ray is normal then get done PFT to rule out bronchitis.
So consult pulmonologist and first diagnose yourself and start appropriate treatment.
