Hello So I accidentally swallowed a whole candy this morning around 5am. It s a butterscotch, to be exact. I drank warm liquids, to try to dissolve it. I tried coughing it out. I am not sure if it went down and my throat is still scratch or if it is still there. I am not having trouble breathing, but I don t know if it went down the wrong pipe . It is now 3:30pm here and it feels like it is still in my throat. Kind of moving; going down a little when i swallow and going up if I don t swallow for a while. I can drink liquids, but it hurts too much to eat soft foods.
