How To Treat Cold, fever And Runny Nose Inspite Of Giving Calpol In Infants?

Hi, my baby is 9 months today and is suffering from cold & fever, very bad blocked/ runny nose for past 4 days, temperature gets to normal giving calpol. He was having high fever on day 2. applying baby Vicks in chest, legs etc 3 times daily. He is having hard time sleeping even in inclined position because of stuffy / runny nose, have to hold him all night for him to get some sleep. Having hard time with his food, so he is fully on formula milk for past 2-3 days. He is having difficulty in having milk too because of blocked nose, as he has to breath with mouth. Calpol , ibuprofen & nasal saline spray doesn t seem to help much for his cold. Kindly advise.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms could be due to viral fever and this is nothing to worry, because within few days everything will be fine till then better to take care for hydration and let the fever runs its course, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
