How To Treat Constipation In A Baby?

Hello Dr I have a 9month old girl baby.Her birthright was 2.5kg.What should be her ideal weight now? Her stool is becoming hard globules though she passes motion 2 to 3 times a day. She consumes water properly. Should I increase liquid food in her daily diet for reducing constipation? Please suggest

Constipation in baby can prevented by including liquid diet and food containing fibre (mashed vegetables/fruits).Further stool softners can be used when there is not adequate relief intermittently.Hope this answers your query.
