How To Treat Cough, Cold And Fast Breathing Problem?

My daughter has cough n cold issue from last 2 days. She is breathing too fast aswell. Our doctor asked us to give her a asthelen syrup 3 times a day n also asked to give her asthelen nebulizer. However tday mrning she is still breathing too fast. Pls advice
