How To Treat Cough ?

I am 61 yrs., 135 lbs, live in Phx, AZ and was just caught in a haboob dust storm 2 days ago. Now I have this cough that won t go away. It feels like I have some phlem in my throat but it won t come up. I took MecinexDM last night but it didn t seem to help. Is there anything over the counter that I can take?

Any history of nasal blockage or post nasal drip?
