How To Treat Cut In Knuckle?

5 days ago I cut my knuckle on an ice machine at work... It might have needed stiches, but I didn t go to the doctor... This morning there was considerable swelling around the knuckle and the back of my hand. Any recommendations?? Besides a doctor visit? Thanks!

Your cut over the knuckle in all likelihood has got infected. You should consider seeing a doctor and starting an antibiotic.
Warm saline compresses will help. Apply an over the counter antibiotic ointment like neosporin three times a day.
