How To Treat Cyst In Genital Area?

Last year my daughter had an abscess/cyst in her private area, it burst and was never drained by the hospital it has taken many many months and is not quite healed. Another one has come up and is about to burst, she has a referral from her doctor but cannot book in to see any gyno as you have to book months in advance. She does not want it to burst and we just don t know what to do. We need to see a gyno asap.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that she might be having infected Bartholin gland cyst giving this problem again and again.
It requires excision of infected cyst with removal of sac.
If you can not consult Gynaec in time it will burst open.
Meanwhile give her one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days.
If there is no pus formation, chances of subsiding the cyst is likely.
Give her some anti-inflammatory medicine as well.
Ok and take care.
