How To Treat Discoloration And Peeling Of The Nails?

My nailbeds on all 10 of my fingers have deteriated and the skin on tips of my fingers have been constantly dried and cracked, heal, repeat for 2 months now. My fingernails look like nubs, huge cracks(wounds) on tips of my fingers causing me alot of pain where if I put any pessure on any finger such as lifting a piece of paper feels like the skin is ripping open. no discoloration of nails before they started peeling off nail bed. I have no Money to pay. I will just have to suffer until my fingers fall off. Thank you and have a nice day.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history you are having onychomycosis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and trim nails regularly.
2. Apply an antifungal lotion like clotrimazole lotion twice daily on affected nails.
3. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
