How To Treat Discolourarion Of Skin In Hand After A Injury?

Two weeks ago I hit my hand pretty hard, specifically my thumb. Two days later it was black and blue on my palm (thumb side only) and on the back of my hand between my thumb and index finger. The swelling has gone down since, but I can not make a 90 degree angle with my index and thumb. Its is also very painful if it is bumped and from a scale of 1 to 10 the aches are about an 8 or 9. If I don't move my thumb there is no pain. There is a slight rise in temparature around that area too.
