Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
During winter, the cold air touches the body the skin etc. when the skin of the neck exposed to the cool air, the cervical spine gets contracted, and cause the compression of the nerves, and cause the numbness.
The other cause may be the allergic reaction to the wool of the blanket, sweater etc, or the foods specific to the winter.
Ask her to avoid the wool, specific foods during summer.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 days and antihistamin at the beginning of the winter.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
