Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms (cold hands and tingling sensation) could be related to peripheral neuropathy.

For this reason, I would recommend performing nerve conduction studies to investigate for this disorder.

I would also recommend checking thyroid hormone levels for possible adjustments to L thyroxine dose if necessary.

Regarding high cholesterol levels, a statin (atorvastatin ) and diet modifications would help improve your situation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
