How To Treat Endometrium Fibrosis With 2 Calcified Cysts While Having Diabetes In A 75 Years Female?

I am 75 years and have been diagnosed with endometriumfibrosis. The ultrasound showed 2 calcified cysts. I have the option of a complete hysterectomy or taking progesterone. I have never had surgery, I am diabetic (non insulin dependent) and a overweight, but otherwise my health is good. What should I do?

hi. You should first get an endometrial biopsy done. calcified cysts in endometrium at this age , one must rule out any possibility of malignancy. So, If report is ok, you may avoid surgery and take medical treatment as per your dr.'s advice. Also keep your weight under control and strict control of diabetes. thanks.
