How To Treat Enlarged Knuckles?

My finger had a trauma with a dog lead resulting in 2 swollen fingers and very enlarged knuckles. What can I do to reduce the knuckle size? I have tried compression gloves that appear to have helped reduce some of the tissue swelling but the knuckles remain rather large.
