Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I had a cold and my nose had dry skin on it and because it was bothering me I started to peel it off and on one patch I peeled off a layer of skin and now I have a patch of exposed red raw skin, all it keeps doing is forming bubbles of puss is that normal? And if so how Long will it take to heal?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dry skin around nose which seems to be due to clogged pores of sebaceous glands of skin with dead bacteria leading to seborrheic dermatitis. I would suggest you to apply cream called Eumosone -M two times a day for a 5 day period and then stop after 2-3 days. you should keep that area moisturized. Apply aloe vera gel on it. drink plenty of water. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined. You can go for chemical peeling as well. Hope your concern has been resolved.
