How To Treat Eye Floaters?

Hi there, for some reason lately I have been seeing light in a new way. When I see the sun or light post or any kind of light radiating from its source, I see it in sections like a rainbow or halo except the orbs are constantly shacking and changing colour through each section. It almost acts like flowing water. It doesn t happen all the time but when it does, it only happens around light. What is this and why am I seeing it?

Hello,

Visualizing, rainbow or halo around light source can be due to glaucoma or raised intra-ocular pressure. I suggest you to consult an ophthalmologist for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri
