Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I believe that I have fibrocystic nodules in my lower back. They aren t back mice because they aren t fatty or moveable. They cause a great deal of pain and are as hard as bone. They used to be larger. I developed them after intense and extended stress during a nervous breakdown in 2011. I am in pain everyday and they put tension throughout my whole back, neck, and legs. What can I do?
As per my clinical experience, as such there are no medicinal cure for fibrocystic nodules in the lower back. The ultimate solution is the excision biopsy after the clinical confirmation of the diagnosis. The options include stereotactic surgery, Da Vinacci robotic excision or open surgery.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
