Normaly treatment for tuberculosis is given for 6-9 mths depending on the resolution of the symptoms and the sputum finding..
I would suggest you to consult your doctor and do not think of stopping the medication on your own.. Inadequate treatment can lead to development of drug resistant tuberculosis..
Fibrotic lung shadows are remnant of damage caused by tuberculosis which will be there for lifetime and it does not mean that medicines should be continued..
Decision to stop medicine will depend on your symtoms and sputum test for tuberculosis.
