How To Treat Fifth Disease Leading To Rashes On Body,redness In Eyes And Fever?

My daughter was diagnose with fifths disease couple of weeks ago but as time goes by she s developing some strange symptoms ???? Couple of days ago her fingers started pealing ??? Her eyes r very red but r not hurting her ??? Today she started vomiting & is running fever (99.1-99.5) when she was 1st diagnosed most of her rash was on her feet & hands (very red hands for about 3 days) the rash moved to her body & cheeks ??? She had blood work done & white blood cells were slightly elevated?? Upper & lower GI was done all was negative???? Could she have kawasaki disease????

Viral infection could be likely and in such infection hypersensitivity develops because of the auto-immune response but condition is almost self limiting certain thing that need to be watch is high grade temperature, shock, dehydration, in case of high grade fever "Acetaminophen" can be tried, rash can be managed with "Diphenhydramine" else this is nothing to worry, if the condition become worse then hospitalization is necessary, hope this information helps, take care.
