How To Treat Flaky Scrotal Sac With Reddish Veins With Recent History Og Fungal Infection Near Groin?
My scrotal sac has become quite flaky since past 3 weeks. The viens on the sac appear quite reddish and there is no itch when the flakes are removed but in a day or two the again come back. A few days before this started i had a fungal infection near the groin but i had applied an antifungal cream and it has subsided. Could it be because of that ? Please help .
Hello Thank you for posting on HCM From your description, it seems you have got Tinea cruris, a sort of fungal skin infection. I would recommend you consult a dermatologist for proper management. I generally recommend proper course of oral antifungal drug like fluconazole / itraconazole along with local application of sertaconazole or luliconazole cream over affected areas. Take oral antihistaminics for itching as required. Hope this will take care of your problem Thank you Dr Hardik Pitroda
