How To Treat Flu Like Symptoms?

2 ear infections, extremely sore throat, horrible cough, which causes me to not even talk, congested nose, sore eyes, chills, body aches everywhere including head, and DREADFUL night sweats. I wake up literally soaking wet and I don't have a fever. Dr. gave me a Z pack and I'm on my 3rd day and don't feel any better. My chest actually feels sore from coughing so much.

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history and feel sorry for the situation you are in.

Apart taking Zpack, I'd suggest to add supporting medications:
- anti-hystamines for coughing (ketotifen, loratadine) at night
- if your cough is productive also can add OTC mucolitics (carbocystein, ambroxol)
- take mixture tablets containing : paracetamol + pseudoefedrine + vit.C
- take herbal teas (linden tea, or other herbs for cold and flu)
- take more rest

Hope it was of help! Let me know if you have further queries!
Wish fast recovery!
