How To Treat Hair Loss?

I had dengue fever back in early august, and i was in the hospital for about 5 days. I am completely cured now, and 3 months after I have been healed, I have been experiencing a significant amount of hairloss the past 2 weeks. What can I do to prevent this, and is this hair loss permanent or temporary? How fast will my hair grow back?? what medicine can i take as well??

The only option for the hair loss for all the condition would be Minoxidile lotion 5% this may some time gives very promising result but not always but this can be tired, hope this information helps.
