How To Treat Headache?

Good afternoon. I have had a throbbing pain in my right eye/eye brow for the last fees day. I take Advil cold and sinus and it helps but does not take it anyway completely. ( it will take headache away but not eye brow pain) I also cleaned my sinus with the water bottle thingie. It seems to help but still not gone. Should I see a dr or eye dr? Thanks

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
I read your query carefully.
According to details it seems to be Migraine or Tension headache which involved right eye as well.
If i will be your treating doctor i will Advise you to
1. Take proper sleep atleast for 8hours. make a proper schedule for eating and sleeping.
2. Avoid certain foods which might trigger the migraine like cheese, chocolates, red wine and dairy products.
3. Do regular exercises and walk.
4. Take Acetaminophen 1000mg twice a day after meal. if it will not be helpful then take Naproxen 500mg twice a day after meal.
5. Avoid sharp lights.
6. Do relaxation exercises.
If symptoms persist then visit hospital.

Hope so it will be helpful. you can write again in case of any query or follow up.
Wish you good health.
Regards
