How To Treat Heart Palpitations In An Elderly Person?

what can I do about slow pulse (42 to 48) and heart palpitations ? I am about 30 pounds overweight. All heart & medical tests are normal. exerting myself in the Florida heat causes me to feel weak & lightheaded. I am 75 years old & still active. I still play softball.

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such slow heart beat could be due to sinus bradycardia, but it need to be investigated and EKG and ECHO is must it may some time need pacemaker, if medicines fails to work and other therapy too, it is all depends upon the underlying cause, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
