How To Treat Heavy Foot With Balance Loss, feet And Arms Numbing?
My legs feel real heavy when I walk. ALL my EKG'S came back abnormal. Heart echo, ct of heart, and stress test came back normal. Also, my left hand stays numb with me all the time and left foot to, and burns. I fell 2 weeks ago. Lost my balance. My assistant. Cardiologist, told me to go to primary DR., and see about having a MRI on my neck. Please, tell me what you think is going on with me. Thank you!
Indeed, the conundrum of symptoms that you are describing sound more neurologic than cardiac, and therefore, it is a reasonable suggestion to obtain an MRI, ideally brain and neck, to assess for any potential nerve compression or radiculopathy that may be causing the paresthesias (funny or numb sensation). An appointment with a neurologist would then be in order.
