How To Treat Heavy Periods?

hi, I started taking my birth control pill again after about 2 months of not taking it. about two days in, my period started but very slowly, (it was originally supposed to start on the 5th but i was going to try skip it- it started on the 2nd). It was very light for about 5 days and would stop completely for a couple hours. Now its getting heavier than before and its been about 8 days. I am still taking birth control regularly... how do i make my period stop?

Hi,

You can take Tranexamic Acid or Etamsylate tablets to control bleeding and it will settle by itself in couple of weeks.

Nothing much to worry and in case of severe bleeding you can consult a gynecologist and be evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
