How To Treat Hemorrhoid Causing Burning Sensation?
I just had a hemorrhoid lanced. It was quite large, but not thrombosed. She felt there was some pus there. Nothing much came out. Now it is open. Soaking it a lot. But I would really like to ice. Is icing a concern. It has been about 48 hours since this was done. I did do a long run of 18 miles today, which she said was okay if I was up for it. Didn t really bother me, but a little burning now. That s why I am wondering about icing. I did a lot of this up until she lanced it.
The cold compress would help to reduce swelling and would also help to decrease the bleeding as well. It can be done for 10 to 20 minutes, 2 to 3 times daily.
If there is no change, it may be best to see your doctor for further treatment.
I hope this helps
