How To Treat Herniated Disc In Lumbar Area Of Spine?

i have been diagnosed with a herniated disc in the lumbar area of my spine. i have upper back and shoulder pain on my right side and recently this has spread to my neck. i have a tightness around the base of my skull and this has spread to my head and it causes dizziness. could this be due to the herniated disc? i am also waiting for an mri scan of my cervical area
