How To Treat High BP (140/90) During 7 Months Pregnancy While On Aldomet 500mg And Ultracall Effervescent Hugs Tab.?

I am 7 months pregnant went for my ante natal yesterday and it was discovered that my bp is 140/90 was placed on aldomet 500g morning and night that 1000g daily for 2wks together with ultracall effervescent ( calcium & vit c) hugs tabs that bubble in water, doc says it will help prevent eclampsia( dunno what that means) am a bit worried i have taken these drugs yesterday and today... am scared for my baby's life, kindly advise it urgent pls.

Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. Kindly do not worry. Though your BP of 140/90 does not warrent any antihypertensives. But my advise is get admitted and get evaluated for blood pressure. Maintain fetal movements. Preeclampsia means hypertension associated with protein in the urine. You must continue calcium.
