How To Treat High Fever In A Kid?

Hi, My daughter is suffering from high fever from morning... She is 17 months old and she is around 11 kilogram... Our doctor suggested us to use Meftal-P if the fever is 102 and above. I gave my daughter Calpol of 3.5ML little while back.... Need your suggestion..

Hello,

I would recommend alternating Calpol with Ibuprofen every 4 hours if her temperature is high. If fever persists more than 2 days, I would recommend performing some blood lab tests: complete blood count, PCR levels and a urine analysis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
