Hi welcome to HCM.
Your husband seem to have hypertriglyceridemia. This can pose risk for future cardiovascular events like heart attacks.Drugs like statins and fibrates form the main stay of therapy.Regular physical exercise for 20 min a day for 5 days a week is very helpful.Oatmeal for breakfast can cause rapid correction of blood lipid abnormalities.Consumption of calories should be less than 2000 kcal a day.Semiannual check up of lipids is recommended.Consult your cardiologist for further help.
Thank you
