How To Treat Hot Flashes All Over The Body Causing Sleeplessness?

hi doctor.I am having hot flashes because of binge drinking 16 days ago. Experienced withdrawal symptoms, now gone. The only thing I am suffering now is hot flashes while sleeping. When I sleep my ears ,face , neck and body is going hot (Heat exhaustion). Its preventing me to sleep from 3 days. In 3 days I slept hardly 4 hrs making insomnia. If I sleep tight for 2 days I will be set. Please help me if there are any over the counter medications I can try to cure these hot flashes.

Hello,

Most probably it is due to hormonal changes. Consult a physician and get evaluated. Most probably you will improve with hormone replacement therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
