How To Treat Incision Scar Caused After Having Radical Hysterectomy?

Hello. I have two main questions. I had a radical hysterectomy October 31,2014; the original plan was to have the robotic hysterectomy but after starting discovered would be too difficult. It has been almost seven months since and the muscles at the incision site are still very sore, the skin is sensitive and somewhat numb to the touch and the muscle s sore and hard, still. I did not have staples but a type of glue to close the incision. I am able to walk for exercise but not up hills or low inclines.Q1: How long will it take to totally heal: muscle and incision Q2: What type of cream or topical would you suggest to fade the incision scar?I have other questions but these are the most pressing to me right now.I am 49yrs old and this is my ONLY operation in my lifetime. I d appreciate any and all information you can provide. Thanks!!

HI
Well come to HC
I really appreciate your concern, any surgical wound can be healed in couple of weeks so here question of healing could be out of question, because it is must have been months gone since the surgery done, what ever the symptoms you have could be due to some other reason and may not be due to surgical reasons, and no need for any application (Cream) but this would be fine soon just try to forget this, hope this information helps, take care.
