How To Treat Infection In Hair Follicles On Thighs?
I have been treated for infected hair follicles. The infected area is on my thigh area and my thighs rub stay very heated. How do I get rid of this I gave been treated by different doctors but the bumps always come back. I need some relief this sometimes painful and embarrassing. Please help
hello, i can understand your concern. the condition you are having is termed as folliculitis. this is mostly bacterial in origin. since it is present on the thigh due to friction this might take longer time to heal.look for ant ingrown hair which might be the cause. i would advise a local antiseptic cream like neomycin for topical application .this resolves most of the cases. a short course of antibiotic like amoxicillin+cloxacillin for five days would also be helpful to you. if a large abscess has developed, it needs to be drained. follow these you would recover soon. feel free to ask further queries. thanks forchoosing HCM
