How To Treat Insomnia, Caused By A Tragedy In The Family, That Hasn't Improved Despite Taking Amitriptyline?

iam having trouble sleeping my daughter got killed about 7 years ago and its around the time it happen .even throw it happen along ago I seem to be having uncontrollable crying and cant sleep. I went to my doctor and he gave me amitriptyline it seems like its not working.what can I take or do. its really driving me crazy.
