How To Treat Intense Pain In The Hip And Femur After A Knee Injury?

Hi my name is Rip Taylor and I was in a very bad motorcycle accident back in Feb 17th and it broke my hip the top ball of Femur off and broke the Femur 3/4 the way up and the middle way of the hip and knee. I also crushed my knee into four separate pieces and broke the Tibia vertically from my knee down the bottom part of the bone. The last 3 to 4 days the leg started hurting from 6 inches below the knee and the moved up through the knee and up to the brake half way up the Femur and today has radiated up to the Hip and groin area. The problem has become very sensitive the last two days. I have a doctors appointment set up for Wednesday at U of L but don't really know what to do at this time.
Thank You Sincerely Rip Taylor

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the history of accident and have some fractures then such symptoms are very likely and it needs to be managed accordingly some time may need surgery, but splint is must with anti-inflammatory drugs, it is better to discuss this with orthopedic surgeon hope this information helps.
