How To Treat Intense Toe Pain Caused After An Injury?

My daughter stubbed her toe about 2 weeks ago and is still complaining of pain. Yesterday she said it feels like the bone is moving. Putting shoes on hurts until she can maneuver the toe in a spot that feels ok. I told her to suck it up as there is nothing that can be done for a broken toe, someone just told me it might be something else. Should I worry and is there anything to help her with the pain as she has to be on her feet.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
If the pain is still a problem there well could be a fracture of the toe and in general there is nothing to do for it other than, perhaps, splinting it.

I would suggest she see a doctor to get x-rays to evaluate this though
