How To Treat Intermittent Fever?

Good day! My little sister is having a intermittent fever ranging to 38-40 degrees celcius for about 5 days. Her urinalysis was okay and her Complete blood count was also good. We are still waiting for the result of her chest xray. Is it possible that she might be having primary complex? Thank you very much!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Your sister is having fever intermittent from five days .
This type of fever may be due to VIRUS ( VIRAL INFECTION ).
Within next 2-3 days she will be fine .
As there is no chance of any primary complex in lungs because of short duration of history of illness .
You didn't mention any history of cough , usually cough present in primary complex .
If there is any family history of tuberculosis then consider about primary complex.
Consult a primary care physician and get his opinion after 2-3 days .
Good luck.
