How To Treat Irregular Beating Of Heart?

Hello, my heart beat just normal a while ago and then suddenly it started beat irregularly and then it felt like it stopped for about 1.5 - 2.5 seconds, it really freaked me out.... i just want to know if i should go see a doctor or anything that could explain why this happened.

I you experience it just once and then it become okay then it is nothing to worry, if this is the continues irregular heart beat then it is matter of concern and it needs EKG testing because it is the test that confirm the conduction defect in heart, most of the time such feeling of irregular heat beat is due to anxiety only but it need to be differentiated with cardiac disease.
