How To Treat Irregular Menses?

I have a very irregular cycle. I never know when I am going to start my period only when I feel it in my underwear or when its almost rushing out. It sometimes takes 34 days 42 days or even 73 days. There was a time it took almost 100 days. I am scared to go to a doctor because I do not want any complications I am just 19. Thanks
