A young female, about 21 years old, 103 lbs, 5ft 3in has itching on upper thighs and shins and when itched it turns to black and blue bruises, upset stomach, dizziness, fever. Fibromyalgia? Any suggestions? please help. We need to know if we should go to the ER
Hi. As per your case history of itching on shin and thighs, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
