How To Treat Itchy Foot?

Hi I have had itchy foot it's on the right hand side of my heel for about a year now over the past few weeks it's bin driving me mad started waking me up in the night and a few days ago I have notice 2 white spots where it itches me could you tell me what it could be???

Hi,

The itchy foot may be due to fungal infection. It is also called tinea pedis. It may be exacerbated by perspiration,water contact and soap. Investigations may be done to rule out DM,HIV,anamia or other internal diseases. If you were my patient, i would have advise you to take anti fungal like ketoconazole or itraconazole for few weeks and to apply antifungal like clotrimazole cream. And to relieve itching to take antihistaminics like levocetirizine. Still, you consult dermatologist. I hope this would be helpful to you.
